As most of you know, The Muppets were a beloved part of my childhood. And I'm still proud to consider myself a fan of them to this day. Why did I bring that up may I ask? Well earlier today, I discovered that long time veteran Jerry Nelson has past away due to Emphysema. And I have to say, I was pretty heartbroken.

In case you don't know, Jerry has been known to be the puppeteer for characters like Robin the Frog, Floyd Pepper, Lew Zealand, Camilla the Chicken, Pops, Dr. Julius Strangepork, and of course, the Count. I actually consider his voice to be very iconic. Like the other veterans, you can tell who's the puppeteer by hearing his voice, and something about Jerry's was very memorable.

The Muppets have dealt with a lot of lost's before, and this was the first in a long time. But, we all know that he's in a better place, reunited with Jim Henson and Richard Hunt. R.I.P. Jerry. You shall be missed.
