That's the end of another class..

Well technically my last day was last week, but it's still hard to believe it's already August already. But yeah, while it's nice to some time to kick back before Fall starts....it's still sad that I no longer have to go into that class anymore. Especially since the professor I had was the best one I had in a long time. She was just so nice and supportive, and gave me complements I honestly didn't think I was worthy enough to get. That's probably my low self esteem speaking, but she said I had gifts in terms of making colors with paint. But she also acknowledge my knack in cartooning in some of my paintings. She was always a professor I looked forward too every other class day.

On top of that, my classmates were also really nice. I got to know them a little better, and I even had a good memory with their names. Some would usually come over to see what I was doing, and were also complementing my work. Safe to say that I manage to bond with a lot of them. Even more so than last semester. I think my favorite painting has to be one of No Face from Spirited Away, though the toughest one by far was one of Marilyn Monroe and that iconic "Seven Year Itch" moment with her skirt blowing up....yeah, easier said than done. Hopefully that didn't effect my grade. Speaking of which...most of my paintings got a B, and I even manage to get one A-....so it's safe to say that I at the very least got a B. Which makes it my third one at this college.

So yeah, I'd say this was a great way to spend the summer, and was exactly what I needed after that stressful spring semester of mine. The professor was great, my classmates were great, and it was an overall good time....it's a shame that's the only class that she teaches, and the chances of getting some of these classmates again seem very unlikely...but she did offer us to come by whenever her class days are up. So there's that. And on a little side note, taking her gave me a new found appreciation for certain bands like Radiohead that would appear on her Pandora account.

But now I have Fall to prepare for...especially for that class I have to retake....yeah. Better sort things with DDS and the tutor I'll be having...
